Time To Get Planting!

It’s April and despite the slow start to the year due to the snow, its now time to focus on spring cleaning your balcony.It’s time to tidy up all those loose ends and give some tender loving care to your outside space and maximise planting for the summer.
Consider planting colourful summer bedding plants, and where possible, re-compost pots and containers to provide additional nutrients. Use either organic compost , or a full rich peat to enhance flowering and productivity.
It’s also a good idea to assess your containers to ensure they are big enough to allow your plants room to grow; the Balcony Gardener has some larger containers which are suitable for planting the bigger balcony plants in.
We are almost out of danger of night time frosts, at which point you can start to put your seeds outside. If you haven’t started growing your seeds there is still time, we still have some of our limited edition collection left.
